Jen Davis Wickens is the founder of Impact Public Schools, the largest public charter network in Washington state. Before founding Impact, Jen co-founded the Washington state charter sector. She also served as the Chief Regional Officer for Summit Public Schools, spearheading the organization’s growth to include out-of-state schools and starting Washington state’s initial charter secondary schools. Jen has been an advisor and consultant for the cross-national efforts on charter school education and academic excellence, strategizing with districts and NGOs to offer outstanding educational opportunities nationwide. For Envision Schools, Jen was the Vice President of Teaching and Learning and she was the Founding Principal of Impact Academy. She is a graduate of Willamette University and Seattle University, where she earned a Master’s in education. Jen was a Stanford Principal Fellow, and went on to qualify as a school administrator through the New Leaders for New Schools accreditation program. She sits on the board of Othello Square, serves as an active volunteer in the National Charity League, and is committed to the Seattle chapter of Young President’s Organization.
Jen is married and has two children and a dog (black lab). She is a nature lover and adventure seeker. She likes to explore and discover the Pacific Northwest while spending time with her family.
